In an effort to communicate more effectively with our younger members, gain valuable insights, and provide them a voice in organizational matters, we have recently established a Ticktocker Advisory Council. The fifteen young women appointed to the council were selected from across the nation following an interview process. All have been actively involved in their local NCL Chapters as Ticktockers.
Jane Davidson, Pasadena Area Chapter (CA) I joined NCL in 7th grade. and earned the 100 hour award and the Merci Award three times. I especially enjoy working with the children at Mother's Club where I also honed my conversational Spanish skills. I have served my class as Ticktocker Council Representative, VP Philanthropy, President, and Corresponding Secretary. I am looking forward to serving as Ticktocker Council Representative again this coming year - especially since my sister will be a member of the Council as well. I love music and debate. NCL has provided me with remarkable experiences in leadership and volunteer work including career-related, on-the-job opportunities volunteering for Levitt Pavilion and Pasadena Symphony.
Allison Doherty, Roswell Alpharetta Chapter (GA) As a Ticktocker in NCL, I committed almost 800 hours of combined community service and leadership hours. I served as the President, Vice President of Programs, and Parliamentarian, among many other jobs, throughout my five years as a Ticktocker with the Roswell-Alpharetta Chapter. Meals on Wheels and the North Fulton Community Charities’ Child Development Center were two of my favorite philanthropies to work with. I attended the University of Georgia, where I continued my passion for volunteerism by working with the Special Olympics Gymnastics team. As a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at UGA, I was able to participate in many other philanthropic opportunities, including the annual 5K called Run for the Roses, which raises money for the Juvenile Arthritis Alliance. I then attended Mercer University, earning a Masters in the Art of Teaching in Early Childhood Education. I currently work as a Spanish Teacher at Susan Stripling Elementary, a Title I school in Norcross, Georgia.

Samantha Duncan, Capital of Texas Chapter (TX) I am a junior at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas and have been a member of the Capital of Texas Chapter for four years. For my Class of 2012, I have held the following Officer positions - Corresponding Secretary, Publicity, and Vice President of Philanthropy. According to our Chapter's Ticktocker Procedures, I had reached my limit for being an Officer, yet I still wanted to be involved in the leadership aspect of NCL - hence my excitement when I heard about this opportunity to get involved on a national level! In my free time, I play Club soccer, hang out with friends, and of course, volunteer!
Lyndsey Edgar, Camelback Mountain Chapter (AZ) Bio Coming Soon!
Alison Kuelz, Diablo Valley Chapter (CA) I am 17 and a senior at Monte Vista High School in Danville, California. I love my school and I'm involved in several clubs including NHS, Interact, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I'm on Varsity Golf. I plan to go to college on the east coast, majoring in Engineering. I am a member of the local Methodist Church and love my ChristCare group, Church Retreats, and mission trips with my church friends. "I feel so blessed to be given this opportunity to be on the National TT Advisory Board. I enjoy participating in NCL and love the fact that I can improve the organization that I love so much."
Alicia Macler, Acalanes Area Chapter (CA) I am a junior at Miramonte High School in Orinda, California. I enjoy playing water polo and swimming on both school and club teams. I also dance, and am an active participant in Girl Scouts. I love California, and hope (when the time comes) that I will attend a university in the state. Right now, I am concerned with my schoolwork, playing sports competitively, and trying to maintain some slim social life. I am a former VP of philanthropy and President of my NCL class of 2012. I regard NCL highly and appreciate its presence in my life;
Brynne McCord, Pacific Coast Chapter (CA) I am a senior at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. In NCL I have previously worked as the VP of Outings and Treasurer for my grade level. This year I am a co-Senior Presentation Liaison, which just might be the best job I have held to date! For the past ten years I have played soccer and I will return to finish my soccer career on my school's Varsity team. I love to sing - especially in the recording studio and I also enjoy all things to do with the ocean. In college I plan to major in marketing/advertising. It is my interest in this field that led me to apply to the Ticktocker Advisory Council.
Blair McDonald, Golden Corridor Chapter (TX) I am from Dallas, Texas and currently a senior at Ursuline Academy of Dallas. I hope to attend the University of Oklahoma, where I plan to become a Certified Public Accountant. I am currently modeling with the Campbell Agency. I love to hang with friends, fish with my Dad, and dance. I am a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. I most look forward to having the opportunity to experience NCL at the national level through the NTTC.
Megan Rech, Heart of Texas Chapter (TX) I am currently a Senior at St. John's School in Houston, Texas. I enjoy being an editor of the school newsp aper and playing the guitar. Although I am still unsure of where I will go to college, I hope to study psychology. I am excited about the opportunity to be on the Ticktocker Advisory Council and hope to bring about some positive changes. My favorite NCL experience was helping with summer camps at The Houston Museum of Natural Science.
Laura Smith, Gateway Chapter (MO) Hi I'm Laura Smith but everyone calls me Abby. I am currently a freshmen at Westminster Christian Academy, in St. Louis, MO. I am on the JV Cheer squad for my school and that takes most of my time, but I also enjoy anything that has to do with the arts, music, acting, ect. I am really happy to be on the Advisory Council, and I hope it opens new doors to volunteering opportunities for the future. My most memorable experience of NCL has to be one day while my mom and I were working at Equine Assisted Therapy. I was thirteen so I couldn't walk beside the horses yet; instead I helped with the games and talked with the kids. On this particular day I had been joking around with one little girl who loved playing with the beanie babies. At the end of her lesson I was helping with the gate and cleaning up. When she got off her horse, she ran over to me and gave me the biggest and best hug I have ever gotten. It made me feel like I had really done something and was definitely an encouragement that every little thing counts.

Sara Stackhouse, Gateway Chapter (MO) I'm 16 years old and currently a junior at Visitation Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. I enjoy playing the piano, dancing, and being involved backstage in my school's theatre productions. I work at the Kumon Center tutoring kids in Math. I love animals and have two dogs and three cats. I've been in NCL since 7th grade, and this year I'm President of my grade level.
Kate Sylvia, San Francisco Chapter (CA) Kate recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Science and Business. There she participated in Student as well as Dorm Government, Varsity Rowing, and the Read to a Child Program. She was also a task leader for the Center for Social Concerns and a Eucharistic Minister. For the next year she will be conducting Neonatal Research before pursuing her medical degree. Kate's favorite NCL experience was the time spent with her mother at Halleck Creek, a therapeutic riding program for children as well as adults with muscular deficient diseases. She currently lives in Tiburon, California.
Hannah Tosch, Bayou Villages Chapter (TX) I joined NCL in 7th grade. I have served as VP Philanthropy, Special Events Chair, and more. I have received the Presidential Award for obtaining more than 100 hours in a year. I have also won the "110% Ticktocker award" for going above and beyond my expected duties. NCL has taught me etiquette, respect, and responsibility. I have enjoyed meeting a different group of girls and going places to volunteer. My favorite was the Center for the Retarded where we got to paint with mentally retarded adults-it was so much fun. I would recommend NCL to all girls who have the opportunity because it teaches great things!!
Leslie Vaughn, Austin Chapter (TX) I am a Graduate Ticktocker (sustainer class of '06) from the Austin Chapter. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in January of 2010 and am currently working for an Investment Adviser in Austin, TX. I spend my Sunday afternoons coaching volleyball for the Youth National Volleyball League and try to make it to as many pick up games as possible. While at Notre Dame, I served as a Diversity Educator and was on the Planning Committee for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebratory Dinner. I also played on the St. Mary's/Notre Dame club volleyball team and was in a hip-hop and break dancing group called Project Fresh. I am a dedicated Irish football fan but count the University of Texas as a close second favorite. I am eternally grateful to NCL for helping forge the strong relationship between my mother and I and hope to continue to serve the organization both nationally and in my home chapter.
Hannah Worscheh, Bayou City Chapter (TX) I am currently a sophomore at St. John's School in Houston, TX where I'm on the varsity swim team and active with the school choir and theater crew. I'm a Ticktocker in the Bayou City Chapter, where I am currently the VP of Philanthropy for the class of 2013. My main project this year is chairing a Christmas party for the children at Julia C. Hester House, an agency that provides support services for low-income families. This summer I spent two weeks volunteering at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, where I worked with kids and helped them learn about how the world works. I also enjoy working at the Food Bank and always look forward to the Christian Community Service Center's annual Back-to-School Drive and Jingle Bell Express events. I am excited to be on the Advisory Council this year and look forward to contributing to the development of NCL.
