Back-to-School Clothing Drive

Mission Statement : To provide new school clothing and uniforms, backpacks and school supplies to less fortunate children in the Valley of the Sun.
Volunteer Activities : Accompany children on their shopping adventure, guiding them through the various departments, and helping them make appropriate selections of a new school outfit or uniform, including two shirts, a pair of shorts, three pair of socks and underwear, a leather belt, new shoes, a sweatshirt, a handmade garment, and a backpack filled with school supplies and personal care items.

The Cinderella Affair

Mission Statement : All-volunteer project supported by Tempe Community Council, the City of Tempe and the East Valley Women's League, whose mission it is to make attending prom affordable for all Phoenix-area high school junior and senior students. The program was founded in 2002 to assist girls by collecting and distributing gently-used formalwear. High school junior and senior girls are invited to attend a boutique in the Spring, where they shop for a dress and accessories free of charge.
