President

Abby is a Forever NCL Sustainer and Honorary Life Member who has the distinction of having been a member in two chapters. Abby began her NCL journey in 2008 as a Patroness in the Plano Area Chapter with daughter Evan, a Ticktocker in the Class of 2014. After her family relocated, Abby continued her active membership as a founding member of the Texas Lantana Chapter in 2016 with younger daughter Sydney, a Ticktocker in the Class of 2022. As an active member, Abby has served in a variety of chapter leadership roles including President (in both chapters), VP Membership, VP Philanthropy, and VP Ticktockers.
As a national volunteer, Abby was a member of the NCL, Inc. Leadership Development Team from 2014 to 2016 and served as the Volunteer Coordinator for the 2017 and 2020 NCL, Inc. Leadership Conferences in Dallas, Texas. Abby joined the NCL, Inc. National Board of Directors (NBoD) in 2021. During her tenure as a Director, Abby served as a board representative on the National Nominating Committee and as a committee member on the Program Evaluation, Strategic Partnerships, and Budget & Finance Committees. Additionally, Abby chaired the Governance Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee and sat as an At-Large Director on the Executive Committee.
Abby received her EdD in Higher Education with a focus on Adult Learning and is a former curriculum developer and workplace educator. Though her terminal degree is from the University of North Texas, she will always be a Texas Christian University Horned Frog at heart, and does, in fact, bleed purple! Outside of NCL, Abby loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling, listening to true crime podcasts, and occasionally binging on the latest “streaming” series or documentary. (And when she really needs to take a break, Abby puts the pencil to paper and works a sudoku or logic puzzle.)
Abby is excited to continue her commitment to service and her passion for NCL and its mission. She values the opportunity to work alongside our talented staff, volunteers, and members. And, she is committed to cultivating a relevant and meaningful NCL experience for all.
