About Our Chapter
NCL, Inc., Texas Lantana Chapter is a group of mothers and daughters who have come together in a commitment to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
Members shall reside in Argyle, Denton, Lantana and surrounding areas. Like all NCL, Inc. Chapters, Texas Lantana aims to foster the mother-daughter relationship by serving its communities together.
Since its inception in 2016, the Texas Lantana Chapter has continued its commitment to the core values of NCL, Inc. and its vision to develop strong women leaders serving and impacting communities today and for generations to come.
Our Chapter has received the Blue Rose Chapter Award for the second consecutive year.
We have completed our annual requirements, and participated in #GivingTuesday and the national philanthropy program.

Interested in joining our chapter? A Prospective Member must be sponsored by a current member of our chapter. Membership opportunities are dependent on Chapter openings.

Some things to keep in mind about the membership process:
- Timeline: Applications for membership are accepted during the Annual Membership Drive from October – January each year for daughters in grade 6 at the time of the Membership Drive.
- Residence: A Prospective Member shall reside in Lantana, Argyle, Krum, or Ponder.
- Sponsorship: A Prospective Member shall be sponsored by an Active or Sustainer Patroness and co-sponsored by an Active, Provisional or Sustainer Patroness Member in our Chapter. (We can help connect you with a sponsor and co-sponsor, if needed.)
- Application: Is completed electronically.
The NCL experience is designed to take place largely within six grade level classes. Because it is designed as a small group program, class size is a critical factor to ensure a successful program. The Membership Committee fills out open Ticktocker class/es from Prospective Member Applications received, using a blind/random draw, if necessary.
Joining a new organization can be overwhelming. We want you to feel comfortable with your commitment and make the most out to this wonderful experience.
The commitment is long-term for Ticktockers (daughters)/Patronesses(mothers) with daugthers entering 7th grade through 12th grade. There are yearly financial commitments and some additional expenses along the way. There is a time commitment for both Patronesses and Ticktockers from monthly meetings to philanthropy hours. Through all of the commitments there is mother-daughter bonding, community service and leadership growth and all of these things are priceless and last a lifetime.

The Texas Lantana Chapter’s goal is to promote and support a relevant list of philanthropy partners with hands on service as mother and daughter teams.
Nurturing confidence through opportunities to learn and grow, while also building problem-solving skills through a supportive environment of healthy relationships.

Mothers and daughters of each class attend a cultural experience together with a focus on different areas of art, theatre, dance and music.
Each Chapter celebrates the richness of its history through traditions that honor the past. The Mother Daughter Tea is an NCL, Inc. tradition. Today, NCL chapters around the country continue to embrace their long-standing traditions, as well as, create new ones.
The Texas Lantana Chapter defines cultural enrichment as creating an environment that nurtures positive identity by recognizing and appreciating the value of differences in each other and the world. We celebrate our community and organizational history through traditions that honor the past while serving the future. As mentors of future leaders, our Chapter continually strives to build stronger ties with our communities and the individuals within them. It is through this understanding that members grow and develop broader worldviews that will shape and enrich our lives.
Our 6-year plan provides Ticktockers the opportunity to participate in grade level appropriate experiences that build understanding and awareness of issues related to culture and diversity. Etiquette is built into the program and put into practice at the August Kickoff Celebration, Jr. Style Show, the Senior Recognition, Awards & Installation Tea and via many opportunities during Ticktocker/Patroness Meetings.
