Monterey Bay

About Our Chapter

NCL, Inc., Monterey Bay Chapter is a group of mothers and daughters who have come together in a commitment to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
Members shall reside in the Monterey Bay Peninsula and Salinas areas. Like all NCL, Inc. Chapters, Monterey Bay aims to foster the mother-daughter relationship by serving its communities together.

National Charity League, Inc., (NCL) is a non-profit organization of mothers and daughters in grades 7-12.  We are a mother/daughter organization made up of chapters engaged in community service within the framework of very high standards.  Our purpose is to foster a sense of community responsibility in the girls as well as to strengthen the mother/daughter relationship.

The Monterey Bay Chapter’s mission statement is:  To foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development, and cultural experiences.

NCL has three components:  Philanthropic Work, Cultural Activities, and Social Events.  In order to join NCL, current members in good standing must sponsor women and their daughters.  Membership requires a continuous record of service.

Monterey Bay Chapter was chartered in 1991 and has over 300 active members.
