Director

Grace Coopman

Grace has been an active member of the South Bay Chapter for the past six years and currently serves as Chapter President. During her time with NCL, she has held several leadership roles including President-Elect, Grade Level Advisor, Secretary, and Social Media Co-Chair, and has served on the Budget & Finance Committee. She enjoys the operational side of leadership—supporting volunteers, building organized systems, and helping her board work collaboratively and confidently. Mentoring fellow leaders and watching them grow in their roles has been one of the most rewarding parts of her service.

Professionally, Grace works in real estate as an appraiser and previously held management roles that strengthened her skills in organization, financial oversight, and team leadership. Her background requires analysis, attention to detail, and thoughtful decision-making—skills she brings to every volunteer role. She values clear communication, accountability, and steady follow-through.

Grace originally joined NCL to spend time with her daughter, a member of the Class of 2026, and that remains her favorite part of the experience. Serving together at Portraits of Hope and helping build school libraries via Access Books are memories she treasures—moments where the impact is tangible and the connection lasting. She stays involved for the people, the shared purpose, and the simple satisfaction of doing something meaningful. Outside of NCL, Grace enjoys skiing and traveling with her family and playing tennis when she can. She looks forward to supporting NCL’s continued growth at the national level.
