National Philanthropy Partners

Nonprofit organizations that NCL, Inc. works in partnership with to extend our reach and significantly increase our impact in local communities around the country through our chapters and their members. These partnerships may include co-branding opportunities, national recognition, and the ability to engage in joint efforts that enhance both the philanthropy partners’ mission, vision and values. The relationship is built on a commitment to driving meaningful, measurable impact on a national scale.

Raising Awareness

NCL’s work with the Alzheimer’s Association centers on raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Members participate in the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s and create social media campaigns during Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness month.

Love Your Heart

NCL proudly partners with the American Heart Association to advance women’s heart health. Throughout the year, members participate in the Heart Walk events, build Go Red awareness, and learn two steps to save a life with hands-only CPR. In support of these efforts, NCL chapters spread the word locally through social media campaigns.

Make a Difference

NCL’s partnership with the American Red Cross provides an opportunity to mobilize the power of NCL as a national network of volunteers. Having the distinction of being NCL’s very first philanthropy partner, members are committed to offer support as blood donor ambassadors, home fire campaign supporters, and “missing maps” project participants.

Support Our Military

Operation Gratitude focuses on volunteer support of military, veterans and first responders.  To show gratitude to those who serve our country, members participate in letter writing projects, paracord lanyard-making, collection drives and our signature  “Philanthropy Together” virtual letter writing event.

Feeding America

NCL partners with Feeding America to provide Ticktockers an opportunity to learn about food insecurity in the U.S. Members assist with food collection and distribution to provide for people in need. They also bring awareness to this issue by getting educated and taking action by working with Feeding America‘s nationwide network of food banks, food pantries, and community-based organizations in the United States.

Americorps

We honor Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through our national MLK Book Drive led by our 7th grade Ticktockers. Each year, Americorps encourages communities to act on Dr. King‘s legacy of social justice and equity through volunteerism. We join their awareness campaign, symbolizing their commitment to this initiative and their desire to promote MLK day activities across the country.

Program Partners

Individuals, organizations, or entities that collaborate with NCL, Inc. to support and enhance specific programs or initiatives aligned with our mission. Program partners may contribute through a combination of resources, expertise, in-kind donations, or services rather than direct monetary support.

National Panhellenic Conference (NPC)

Each year, NPC offers a scholarship opportunity exclusively for NCL members, and coordinates a higher education panel for NCL‘s college and career program. Made up of 26 women’s-only inter/national member organizations, NPC seeks to foster sorority communities committed to women’s empowerment and the development of young women engaged in their campuses and communities.

Girls In Power

The ‘Girls In Power’ self-defense program provides an environment of connection, empowerment and leadership through interactive exercises rooted in psychology, neuroscience and a holistic approach to jiu-jitsu. Developed and taught by Cesalina Gracie, Ticktockers participate in virtual classes with focused topics including courage, strength, compassion, honesty, friendship, and self-control.

Center for BrainHealth

The “Do Something New” program is a unique leadership experience for Ticktockers developed by the Center for Brain Health. Members participate in online on/demand mini-courses that focus on cultivating a creative mind, sparking compassionate connection, and mindful walking meditation. Each year, NCL participates in their BrainHealth Week activities to learn about wellness strategies that can be incorporated into daily life.

The Kindness Campaign

NCL is partnering with The Kindness Campaign (TKC) to provide emotional health curriculum through their Kind Leaders program. With a focus on prevention, TKC catalyzes positive change in schools and communities through arts-infused workshops, lessons, and activations.

Engagement and Inclusion

This program embraces the practice of belonging and inclusion utilizing Rosalind Wiseman’s “Cultures of Dignity” principles.

Rosalind has created modules for NCL’s Core Program that focus on practicing skills essential to creating positive and supportive environments and training videos to help members build inclusive, welcoming environments.

Etiquette Program

Myka Meier focuses on creating a culture of modern etiquette through the practice of etiquette as a life skill. Members learn how to build better relationships showing respect, consideration and kindness. Other core program topics include professional communications, soft skills and the art of Tea.

Corporate Partners

Business entities that collaborate with NCL, Inc. to support its mission and goals through a formal partnership. This partnership involves a monetary contribution as a core component, which may include sponsorships, grants, donations, or cause-related marketing campaigns. In return, corporate partners may receive opportunities for brand visibility, and community engagement as it is aligned with NCL, Inc.’s values, fostering mutual benefit and shared impact.
