Kim is a proud Forever NCL Sustainer Member of the Conejo Valley Chapter, located in Southern California. She began her NCL journey in 2010 with her now Sustainer daughter, Jillian. She served five years on her Chapter Board as VP Philanthropy, VP Provisionals, and Ways and Means, and participated in numerous advisory and leadership roles as both an Active and Sustainer in support of the chapter. In addition, she served on the District 3 leadership team as a Philanthropy Specialist for a few years, and piloted dual roles of Provisional and Sustainer Specialist.
Over the years, Kim has actively participated in her community by volunteering with her children’s schools and sports groups, local mental health and social service organizations, along with supporting activities of her church, the UCLA Alumni Association, the Pepperdine Alumni Association and her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. She is passionate about addressing the needs of one’s own community, along with providing support to youth and young adults through mentoring and leadership.
Kim is currently working towards a Doctoral degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She attended UCLA, earning an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Business Administration, and earned a graduate degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and has worked in private practice along with a variety of mental health facilities and organizations. Kim resides in Agoura Hills, California with her husband, John, daughter, Jillian and son, Ryan. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, being active outdoors and helping others achieve their goals.
As a true believer in the NCL leadership and mentoring model, Kim is honored to continue serving the organization and its members by being part of national leadership. She is grateful for her own NCL experience of meaningful time spent with her daughter, training and empowerment opportunities, friends and fun. She looks forward to carrying on the mission, values and vision of NCL, as the organization continues to expand its reach and make a meaningful impact on future generations of women and the communities they serve.
