Elizabeth (Liz) is a Forever NCL Sustainer and Honorary Life Member. Liz started her NCL experience in the Heart of Kansas City Chapter with her daughter, Courtney, who was in the Class of 2014. In her chapter, Liz was a Grade Level Advisor, VP Membership, President, and Senior Recognition Chair.

Knowing she wanted to stay connected to NCL after her daughter graduated, Liz joined the Leadership Development Team where she was a member for ten years. She was responsible for live training around the country, as well as more recent Zoom and video training to chapter and national leaders.

In the last six years, Liz has served on these special committees: Vision Casting Task Force, Chapter Support Implementation Team, Program Evaluation as the Chair of that committee, and the Brand Task Force. The last two years as a Director on the National Board of Directors, she worked with the following Board Committees: National Nominating, Governance, Talent Acquisition, Innovation, Strategic Planning, Budget & Finance, and Innovation 2.0 as Chair.

Along with her NCL work, her professional career has been in Management and she has held executive positions in The Junior League of San Diego, Beach and Country Guild, and her local PTAs.

When not involved in NCL, Liz loves to volunteer within her community, visit her out-of-town family, get together with friends, read books, and learn something new. The best is when she and her husband can travel to new places with outdoor fun and great food!

Liz is thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve on the National Board of Directors. She has made so many lifelong connections within NCL and looks forward to that continuing! Liz is especially eager to help NCL embrace its vision, mission, and values as the organization continues to grow.
