Treasurer

Laura is a Forever NCL Lifetime Sustainer and an Honorary Life Member of the Emerald City Chapter in Washington State. She began her NCL journey in 2011 with her daughter Lindsay, and is proud of the legacy of service and leadership they carry forward through NCL.
Laura has held several national leadership roles, including two years on the National Board of Directors. Most recently, she chaired the Governance Committee and served on the Budget & Finance Committee, contributing to the strategic oversight and sound fiscal stewardship to support the organization’s mission and long-term success.
Previously, she served nine years as the Finance Subject Matter Expert on the Leadership Development Team, where she developed and hosted live and virtual trainings for chapters nationwide. Within her home chapter, she served two terms as Treasurer, one term as Chapter President, and two terms as Webmaster, showing a commitment to leadership at both the local and national levels.
With more than 25 years of experience in commercial and nonprofit finance, Laura has focused her professional expertise on advancing NCL’s goals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. Outside of NCL, Laura enjoys the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She is a United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Master and an American Sailing Association instructor.
She is honored to serve NCL and remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of its members and carrying forward the organization’s 100-year legacy.
