The Organization

Welcome to National Charity League, Inc. For more than 50 years, National Charity League, Inc. (NCL), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has thrived as one of the nation’s most distinctive and well-respected mother-daughter membership organizations. Today, NCL has more than 165 Chapters with more than 48,000 actively engaged members – women and daughters in grades 7 through 12 – in 17 states.

In fact, ours is the only such volunteer force of its kind serving local communities around the United States.

Annually, NCL members volunteer approximately one million hands-on hours in local communities, and as many or more supporting their own non-profit Chapter corporation.

NCL mother and daughter members from coast to coast volunteered a cumulative total of 1,056,721 hands-on hours directly with not-for-profit philanthropic organizations in their communities in the 2010-2011 fiscal year alone. Using the 2010 published statistic that each volunteer hour is worth $21.36, NCL Chapters provided a value of $22,571,560  to communities nationwide!
