The Glendale Area Chapter of National Charity League Inc. will hold its 17th annual “From the Heart” American Red Cross Blood Drive on Sunday, June 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, located at 1812 Verdugo Blvd., in Council Rooms A-D.
The summer is a time when blood supplies are very low and donors are urgently needed. Members of the community are encouraged to make an appointment to donate by emailing nclglendalefromtheheart@gmail.com or by signing up for this drive on the American Red Cross website at redcross.org and entering sponsor code: nclglendale.
All donors will receive a $10 gift card after the event and will be entered in a drawing for two different sets of two Knott’s Berry Farm tickets. Donors will also be treated to homemade cookies and treats made by the mother-daughter chapter members.
